WHAT TO EXPECT IF YOU ARE AN IN-OFFICE BAR
REVIEW CLIENT.
Barperfect's online bar review is not a mass-produced
course. And it is not a self-study course. Barperfect
offers candidates professional guidance and individualized
mentoring throughout the entire bar review process.
No crowded lecture halls.
No big, fat glossy books to lug around.
And no outlines written in academic legalese that further
confuse the process. (Our Interactive Outlines are written
in easy-to-understand "plain English.")
And Barperfect does not provide cursory, template-oriented
feedback. (We read each and every word of everything you write.)
Sometimes, they will be used
for in-office writing. For example, if the pertinent homework
centered on Criminal Law, you might be writing two (2) Criminal
Law essays under bar exam conditions that particular in-office
session. (Bring your laptop with you, if that is how you are
taking the bar exam. Otherwise, "blue books" will
be provided.) If you are doing in-office writing, you will
be at our office close to three (3) hours - afterwards, we
will critique your in-office writing efforts, go over your
homework assignments and answer any legal-knowledge questions
that you might have. (If a performance test is that day's
in-office activity, you will be at our office close to four
(4) hours.)
Sometimes, bar review sessions will be used solely to answer
legal-knowledge questions and go over your homework without
any in-office writing. If that is the case, your bar review
session will last close to two (2) hours - or less, if you
don't have that many questions for that particular session.
(Do the mass-produced bar
review courses even allow you to raise your hand?)
. . . about
the law? . . . a particular essay or performance test? . .
. an MBE question or answer? . . . one of your critiques?
